It was well organised with friendly, enthusiastic volunteers and staff. Meals were delicious, horse’s quiet and local Outback hospitality, unrivalled. Unbelievable bush tucker from porridge in the mornings to soups, roasts, mixed grills and sweets for the evening meal. Ample thirst quenchers after a dusty day’s drive. Lots of laughs along the trail and around the campfire. Organised to the minute. It made me realise what the Pioneers of Outback Australia had to go through.
